Here are some of our favorites:

This shot of Kay and the Portuguese vessel
Sagres was taken by Julie Cook at Sail Boston 2009 as the Tall Ships left Boston
bound for Halifax.

Julie Cook also sent us this shot of Heath at
the wheel off Boston with the Picton Castle in the background heading for
Halifax.

This shot was taken on our Welcome the Tall
Ship Picton Castle to Gloucester sail on July 4th. Taken from the Lannon by Mark
Shear.

This shot was taken by Jay Albert in 2006. He
calls it "Tube Salute."

We love this shot "Sterns ahoy" by Cheryl
Andrews, DMD. (That's Capt. Tom, Heath and Zach, left to right.) This is what it
looks like when we think we might have run over a lobster trap line.

This is a cool shot, created by Alan Diaz. He
calls it "Chart overlay."

Taken from the Magnolia Shore by Rich Renehan.

Renata Greene took this shot on
Race Day as the Lannon led the Parade of Sail past the Paint Factory.

This shot was taken by Jay Albert from his boat
J's Escape.

This lobsterbake shot was submitted by Caroline
Schroeder. We liked it enough to use it on our brochure.

This is a shot of Tom and his friend Capt.
Billy Shields, 93, on his last Race Day sail in 2003. (That's Ernestina and
Friendship in the background). Capt. Billy was the last of the crew of the
Schooner Gertrude Thebaud, who raced against the Canadian Schooner Bluenose in
the International Fishermen's Races. Capt. Billy sailed around the world
several times and had plenty of stories to share. He passed away in the winter
of 2004.
Congratulations and our thanks to all who
have entered our contests. We hope you'll keep your eyes open and your camera
handy.
Here are some cool shots taken by Tobin Arsenault
at the Volvo Ocean Race, (an around the world race) in Boston in May, 09:

The Lannon is dressed with the flags of
our charterer, Delta Lloyd.
Heath and Tom and the Delta Lloyd passengers watch the action.
And also:

The start of the seventh leg from Boston to Galway, Ireland.
Here Delta Lloyd is in 2nd place.
A close-up of the American Puma boat and crew.
Read more about the race at
www.volvooceanrace.org.
Sharon Lowe took these shots (below) of the Junior Women's Seine Boat race at
St. Peter's Fiesta on Friday, June 26, 2009. That's The True Few team, who went
on to win the race.

We'll post more here as we get them, so keep those great shots
coming in. Go back to
